Frequently Asked Questions

Detail vs Car Wash, Whats the difference?

A “detail,” is a reconditioning service that goes far beyond a traditional car wash. The initial wash will remove stubborn contaminants from the exterior, and will reach areas that a tunnel fed car wash can’t address. It will also give the installer the opportunity to assess the condition of your paint. Material selection, and quality of application is more important as well. Spray waxes offer little to no protection and do nothing to recondition the paint surface. When you book a treatment you’ll find no spinning brushes, hydraulic beams, buckets of dirty wash, or abrasive rags. Our mission is to pamper your vehicle.

What do I need to do?

We ask that we are allowed access to an outdoor faucet and power outlet, but we provide polishers, pads, and everything else. We also ask that you remove personal items from the vehicle, like clothing or accessories, prior to your appointment. Lingering items will be placed into a unit for storage, and the ‘miscellaneous box of personals’ will be returned to you with your vehicle.

How long should I expect this to take?

Treatment time depends on a few factors: the level of soiling, the size of the vehicle, and the treatment selection. For this reason we ask that you plan to leave the vehicle with us for a few hours. A General Cleaning may take 2-3 hours, whereas our Elite Treatment can easily become an all day affair so we ask that you plan accordingly.

Can I pay with a card?

Of Course! We accept most commonly accepted credit cards. We also have electronic and contactless payment options available.

What is “outside the scope” of a typical cleaning?

Generally speaking, anything seriously hazardous to the health of the installer such as blood, bile, feces, mold, etc; or services which constitute abnormal amount of time to remediate such as dog hair, melted candy, wet sanding, or removal of trim pieces/parts.
